Hella develops and manufactures components and systems for lighting technology and electronics for the automotive industry and is one of the top 50 automotive suppliers in the world and one of the 100 largest industrial companies in Germany.
More than 25,000 people work in 70 manufacturing facilities, production subsidiaries and joint ventures all over the world of which 3,500 engineers and technicians work in research and development throughout the company. Customers include all leading vehicle and system manufacturers as well as the automotive parts aftermarket.
Since 2006, Romania also takes part in the Hella story. We are contributing with a rapidly growing young and professional engineering force in two development and three manufacturing sites. Engineering departments in Timisoara and Craiova are developing most of the electronics products in the Hella portfolio together with other partner sites, focused on Driver Assistance Systems, Energy Management and Body Control Modules. Hella Romania’s Design and Development goal is to be recommended by car manufacturers for what we achieve through our people, our reliability, our effectiveness and our management excellence!
